This pattern is for a loose fitting reversible vest with a soft hand and slightly puckered look like old quilts.  The edges and applique will fray and add even more texture.  You will be using three layers of fabric together, the outside, the foundation and the inside, quilting them together by forward and reverse lines of stitching.
