This vintage style pattern is from the 1940's. This light-weight coat has so many pretty details, meant to be a lightweight coat worn over a dress so it has less ease than you might expect from a modern coat. It is more of a layering piece than a coat for real warmth.
Single breasted coat has a deep shaped front yoke finished with a lapped seam. A lapped seam is also used to finish the top of the center back panel. Lining and side seam pockets optional.
