1953 Simplicity #4149 vintage sewing pattern, young men's shorts, boxer briefs, size waist 28. V. 1 shorts have soft pleats on each side of center front and a fly front opening. The upper edge of back is gathered into an adjustable waistband and fastened with buttons in front. The front and back of V. 2 shorts are stitched to elastic webbing which fits snugly at the waist.
