1949 Simplicity #2969 vintage sewing pattern, boys' slacks and shirt, size 3.  Elastic, inserted through a casing at the waistline, fits the slacks which are styled with a simulated flyfront opening and side pockets.  Cuffs trim the lower edges.  The front-buttoned shirt has a notched collar and a back shoulder yoke.
