1938 Vogue #8244 vintage sewing pattern, misses' gathered front dress, plus size 20. Frock has the full front cut in one piece from neck to hem with no seam at the waist-line and gathered below slash at neck. High V-shaped neckline which closes with tiny buttons or clip. Sleeves have gathered fullness at top and may be long, pushed up to three-quarters length or short. Skirt in back joins blouse at regulation waist-line. Shaped girdle buttoned at front or side front sections inset at underarm.
