1983 Simplicity Crafts #6190 vintage sewing pattern, Marjorie Puckett Shadow Quilted ornaments and 67" diameter tree skirt. Shadow quilting is a basic technique which sandwiches a piece of solid color fabric called the design insert between a top sheer fabric and a foundation fabric. Polyester fleece is placed under the foundation fabric. Backing white voile is placed under fleece.
